RCA volunteers organize the following events each year.

Members will receive email updates as details of these activities are finalized.

Meet Your Neighbors

We organize these as frequently as we can, pub nights with a meet and greet theme.  The cost of the evening is your own expense although the Community Association provides a snack or two and have a few activities planned. So come out and meet your neighbors and lift a pint or two.

We assist Cochrane's Helping Hands with their spring
food bank drive, organizing the community into zones and providing volunteers for the drive-around as required.

An Easter egg hunt is scheduled shortly before Easter.

The Town of Cochrane's annual River valley cleanup.

July 01, Canada Day
We organize a mini-golf tournament  at the Cochrane Golf Club mini-golf course that has proved to be very popular.  Best to get your team registered as soon as you can so you can enjoy a game with friends on sunny warm day.

Our fall (and getting ready for winter) community garage sale.  We also assist Cochrane's Helping Hands with their fall food bank drive

Another fall activity is the Party in the Park, held at playground next to Matt Krol Park.

A membership e-survey canvassing for any community concerns, needs or suggested improvements?

Our Annual General Meeting and election of new Board

Santa Claus visits Riverview, together with Cochrane first responders with all sirens + lights on drive-around.  Something all the kids (and some parents) look forward to.  As well, we host a Christmas home decorating contest that determines who has the best decorated home in Riverview.
